Miss Angela Pecnik
Personal message: As Catholic educators, we have a responsibility to provide our students with a quality education, equipping them with the knowledge required to live purposeful and meaningful lives in the future.
Areas of responsibility: The assistant principal is responsible for supporting the principal in promoting and nurturing the Catholic identity and mission of the school and in ensuring excellence in educational outcomes for all students.
Professional experience: Angela has been the assistant principal at St Kevin’s since the beginning of 2019. She has previously held the position of literacy coordinator. Her coordinator responsibilities included leading the improvement of literacy across the school, as well as building the capacity of teachers in the area of Literacy through an instructional coaching model. Angela has also supported and supervised early career teachers as they become proficient in accordance to the AITSL standards.
Angela has also held the roles of reading coach, EAL/D teacher as well as the experience of teaching all grades K–6.
