Personal message: I believe that young people who are lifelong learners, confident and creative individuals and have the power to make a difference to our world.

Areas of responsibility: The principal is responsible for modelling the Catholic faith in action and for leading the school community to live out its vision and mission focussed on quality faith, educational and wellbeing experiences for all students. The principal is responsible for the effective leadership, management and strategic direction of the school.

Professional experience: Frances has been principal of St Kevin’s since 2012. Prior to this she was a professional officer in the People & Culture unit of Sydney Catholic Schools. Her responsibilities included working with school and system leaders to further develop their leadership skills, leading system wide change in performance growth of school staff, professional accreditation of teachers, developing professional development programs for leaders and facilitating change processes in schools.

Frances was the NSW CEC representative on the Professional Learning Endorsement and Advisory Committee (PLEAC) NESA. This committee made recommendations about the endorsement of professional development providers, and provided strategic advice about teachers’ professional learning.

Frances has held the roles of assistant principal, coordinator and diverse learning teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Wentworthville, and has worked as a classroom teacher in many schools in Sydney, Parramatta and Broken Bay Diocese.
